It hurts most knowing it wasn’t the love for you,
Love should be unconditional,
At times maybe irrational,
The bond and trust you give someone thinking they’ll never break your heart,
All the time and wasted energy just for things to fall apart,
If you couldn’t be there for me when I needed you most,
Where were all those I love you’s and I miss you’s when I needed it most,
I told you my deepest memories I trusted you with my soul,
I had so many dreams and aspirations I was building life long goals,
All this time it was one sided,
When you left me in a text I sure was blind sided,
I gave you a chance, when I wasn’t even giving others a second glance,
I thought you were different but you were the same,
But my life shouldn’t have been played like some game,
My love was genuine it was true,
I would have done almost anything for you,
I feel empty I feel sadness I feel pain,
Don’t think I’ll ever do this again.
